Snowdonia Wild Camping North Wales 2013/09/11
A week spent in Snowdonia wild camping. Such an amazing area with
dramatic hills and upland scenery. Didn't want to leave. It is a shame
that wild camping is mostly prohibited in this country. As usual it is
a small group of people who ruin it for the rest of us.
Introduction
One of the nights was spent under canvas in a remote wild camp spot
looking over the Snowdon Range. I used my bivi and tarp with some
walking poles to construct a basic shelter for the night. Snowdonia
wild camping is fantastic especially when you are using a tarp. Instead
of being cocooned inside a tent you are in the open with views abound. I
shall be returning to this area as soon as possible as I miss it
