Had a few days off so a rucksack was packed, water bottles filled and camera charged. Off to south Dartmoor wild camping for four days. Two and a half of which would be solo and the rest being a friendly rendezvous on top of Hookney Tor with Ed and Guy, two fellow bushcrafters! Classic Bushcraft in West London

Some great outdoor education happening with us at Ember Survival with bushcraft in West London. Today we made hand carved spoons out of Willow. Classic Bushcraft! It is great to see stuff happening in the UK’s capital. Outdoor education is so vital to people’s well being that it has almost become cliché. The fact is it an essential part of an individuals growth. Here in West London we are running a 12 week bushcraft programme.

ESEE RC4 Full Review & Field Test

I think writing about knives over and over again would turn any normal person to boredom but I genuinely find knife design to be a fascinating subject. It involves many subtleties and considerations to get a knife just right. Any manufacturer can produce a sharp object, it’s in making this into a fully-fledged tool where the magic has to happen. This is a full review and field test on the ESEE RC4.
